DAN VAN WINKLE 'DAN WEST' - IMPRESIONES DE LUZ. 1ª SELECCIÓN

Dan Van Winkle (también conocido como Dan West) ha disparado fotos por más de 40 años. Comenzó en la escuela secundaria para el periódico escolar. Dan pensó brevemente elegir fotoperiodismo como una carrera, pero después de hablar con algunos profesionales de la fotografía, decidió que una carrera en ingeniería le permitiría mantener su fotografía como un hobby serio, en lugar de una carrera. Para los primeros 30 años de su fotografía Dan se centró en la fotografía de paisaje, pero hace unos 11 años decidió que era tiempo para incluir la figura de la mujer (y a veces masculina) como parte de sus paisajes. Desde entonces, Dan ha publicado varios libros, tiene su arte en galerías y sigue perfeccionando su obra en el desnudo y paisaje.

Dan Van Winkle (also known as Dan West) has been shooting photos for more than 40 years. He started in high school shooting for the school newspaper. Dan briefly thought about choosing photojournalism as a career, but after speaking with a few professional photographers, decided that a career in engineering would allow him to keep his photography as a serious hobby rather than a career. For the first 30 years of his photography Dan focused on landscape photography but about 11 years ago decided it was time to include the female (and sometimes male) figure as part of his landscapes. Since then, Dan has self-published several books, had his art in galleries, and continues to refine both his landscape and nude work.
