He says: I'm a fairly quiet shy person and only started model photography in 2011, since then I've met some great people and built up my confidence in my ability and how I interact with others. I'm a perfectionist and so I'm constantly looking to improve my images, something which I hope will continue in the future. Tapping into the creative side of me is something I've found to be a very slow process but that's kind of a good thing as well as it means there's still plenty of room to improve

Showing my work here is very different to my usual outlets as here my work is being seen by other artists and creatives and it means a lot to receive all the favourites and comments that you guys give out.
I like shooting beauty, conceptual and fashion (to an extent) but my main interest lies in figure related work. I find the human body fascinating, that two different people can take a similar pose and yet the results can look so different.
I love collaborations! It's great to take things slow and experiment (hence my name!)

Dice Terry: soy una persona tímida bastante tranquila y sólo comencé la fotografía de modelaje en 2011, desde entonces he conocido a algunas personas geniales y construido mi confianza en mi capacidad y cómo interactúo con los demás. Soy un perfeccionista y por eso estoy constantemente buscando mejorar mis imágenes, algo que espero que continúe en el futuro. Aprovechar el lado creativo de mí es algo que he encontrado que es un proceso muy lento, pero eso es algo bueno, así como significa que todavía hay mucho espacio para mejorar
Mostrar mi trabajo aquí es muy diferente a mis puntos de venta habituales, ya que aquí mi trabajo está siendo visto por otros artistas y creativos y significa mucho para recibir todos los favoritos y comentarios que ustedes dieron.
Me gusta fotografiar belleza, conceptual y de moda (hasta cierto punto) pero mi principal interés radica en el trabajo relacionado con la figura. Me parece fascinante el cuerpo humano, que dos personas diferentes pueden adoptar una pose similar y, sin embargo, los resultados pueden parecer tan diferentes.

ABOUT: Dan Van Winkle (also known as Dan West) has been shooting photos for more than 40 years. He started in high school shooting for the school newspaper. Dan briefly thought about choosing photojournalism as a career, but after speaking with a few professional photographers, decided that a career in engineering would allow him to keep his photography as a serious hobby rather than a career. For the first 30 years of his photography Dan focused on landscape photography but about 11 years ago decided it was time to include the female (and sometimes male) figure as part of his landscapes. Since then, Dan has self-published several books, had his art in galleries, and continues to refine both his landscape and nude work. EXTENDED SELECTION.

ACERCA DE: Dan Van Winkle (también conocido como Dan West) ha estado rodando fotos durante más de 40 años. Comenzó a filmar en la escuela secundaria para el periódico escolar. Dan pensó brevemente en elegir el fotoperiodismo como una carrera, pero después de hablar con algunos fotógrafos profesionales, decidió que una carrera en ingeniería le permitiría mantener su fotografía como una afición en serio en lugar de una carrera.
